Messerschmitt Bf 109

Had to look up it's exact name.


Not brilliant and had several goes at the tail and still not right, but an interesting subject to try.

I like how it's guns are in what look like duck nostrils in the nose. 

This one is in the RAF museum in Hendon.  Went there for a day of sketching with Mark, an engineer and certified airplane nut who filled the day with facts and histories and stuff I didn't know. and now do. 

A good companion for a good day.
