These 'popped' up in my garden a couple of years ago, and, despite all my attempts at sowing seeds, have failed to reappear. My garden is like that. Stuff only lasts one year. I think the soil gets too cold and wet in the winter and it all rots away, or gets eaten.
Glad I spent a day catching them in their flowery redness.
Experimented with the background on this one.
And, come to think of it, have no idea where the original is !!!
Transient beauty is sometimes the most beuatifuk of all...
ReplyDeleteWow! That looks awesome! I love the little highlights in the blossoms.
ReplyDeleteI love red, I really do! This is very nice indeed. :-)
ReplyDeleteSteve - actually really miffed I never got these to grow again. They are/were amazing.
ReplyDeleteKingcoyote - thanks, they took a lot of looking at. Not sure about the background now though.
Sagittarian - Red will always do it. Red red red. Have you seen the film 'Kinky Boots' ? A guilty pleasure of mine. That scene where he says " RRRRREEEEEEEDDDDDDD" !
